Clobbered Indy? Why was it a 7 game series then?
He scored 33 tonight.

And that's the mentality that youngsters get. They think they "deserve" everything, that it's owed to them before accomplishing anything.

How hard did Jordan fight against the Celtics and Pistons in the early years?

Leaders don't turn tail and run, they stay and fight.
Tonight, there was nothing but fight in Lebron James.

23-year olds leading a team to a finals victory is practically unheard of in the NBA and everyone who watched basketball knew the Cavs had zero chance of winning that series barring major injuries to Spurs players.

His Miami teams certainly aren't great teams but he's had enough to get it done against the teams he's played the last 3 years.
Much of the time, teams lose an NBA Finals before actually winning one.

Hakeem Olajuwan lost 2 NBA Finals before finally winning one.

Clyde Drexler lost 2 NBA Finals before finally winning one.

And last I just don't like his image, the fact that he wears his headband so high on his head to hide his receding hairline just goes to show you that he is not confident in himself. This shows in his constant need for attention and to be loved. Jordan and Kobe were jerks and they couldnt have cared less if you liked them or not. Add that in with the fact that he reportedly cant control his women too, his Mom allegedly was messing around with bi-polar ass Delonte West and his fiancee Savannah is a known piece of action.

This is part of the reason but there is something else that just doesn't sit right. Maybe it is just me but I keep getting the feeling he is working very hard to be popular and it is just an act.
I just keep feeling that his "nice guy" facade is just that and every now and then, he slips up to show us what he is really all about. Jordan may have done bad things but he didn't put on an act. Even with his assists, I feel LeBron is only trying to improve his numbers.
One thing is for sure, people don't dislike LeBron because they are jealous.

Where did you hear that, TMZ? I didn't know grown men were so into catty celebrity gossip. Or so concerned about other people's hairlines and whether or not they're comfortable with it. Usually only teenage girls are concerned with that type of stuff.

How would you suggest he "control" his mother, by the way? Chain her to something so she can't leave the house? Beat her when she doesn't do what he says? You've been watching too much Mad Men. It's not the 50s anymore, woman are allowed to make their own decisions now.

Also, Kobe is suing his own mother and got divorced from his wife. I guess he "can't control" his women either.

I'm pretty sure that numerous mothers of NBA stars have slept with younger men.

What does Lebron's mother have to do with liking Lebron as a person?

Jordan couldn't control himself either, he was a notorious cheater when he was married.

To say Jordan could care less who didn't like him, is a mischaracterization of the image Jordan created for himself during his playing days. He went from the cat wearing the gold chains and flashy jump suits at the NBA All-Star Game to three-piece suits and saying Republicans buy sneakers, too later in his career.

Jordan was the ultimate corporate shill. His image was carefully crafted to appeal to whites. That's why he was beloved. He was safe. He was a non-threatening black man who didn't speak about social issues, politics or race during his career. Jordan didn't want the press to report that he had impregnated his then girlfriend Juanita because of how he would be perceived. We saw the real Michael Jordan during his HOF speech, long after his career was over and the millions had been made.

LeBron on the other hand doesn't care whether corporate America or white people like him. It is easier for black America to relate to LeBron than Jordan when you think about it. He's inclusive. His game is inclusive. He hired his high school friends to manage him early in his career. He gets ripped for being too unselfish. If LeBron cared about being liked, you think he would have agreed to take part in "The Decision?" You think he would have joined the Miami Heat? You think he would have called himself "The Chosen One?" You think he would have said what he said after the Heat lost to Dallas in the NBA Finals? You think he would have led an effort along with Wade to show support for Trayvon Martin?

People don't like LeBron because he doesn't conform to be accepted by whites who want black athletes to be docile, neutered social yes men like Jordan. LeBron is his own man. He's his own black man, for that matter. And LeBron's liberation is a threat to those who want him and his blackness to be controlled. That's the underlying reason why the majority of black athletes who choose the path of non-conformity -- either through words or actions -- are not liked if we're honest with ourselves. They ruin the fantasy.

I've only 'disliked' him since he's been on Miami, and that's only because of the arrogance of the big 3 to believe that they would win multiple championships together without accounting for team chemistry or the abilities of other teams.

Its societal control not "blackness". Lebron has plenty of black detractors even players, ex-players etc. What a bunch of crap....you spew.
