He'll be long gone before they become relevant in regards to "a championship-caliber" ball club again.
He can say all the nice things delusional Brick fans want to hear "This year is a lost cause anyways" "we are playing for the future, and we'll take whatever this year brings" "we need one more star player to complete the triangle" blah, blah blah. Until Dolan just goes away forever, that franchise is a lost cause.
Spurs, Warriors, Grizzlies look to be this year's "true" championship contenders so far. And the Spurs have beaten the other two once already.
