They actually have some good players that people actually know. Their problem lies with Josh Smith & Brandon Jennings, who they are unfortunately stuck with. Also, I was never a fan of SVG in Orlando, maybe Dwight was right all along: SVG is a bad coach!

Pistons should put Monroe on the block and see if they can nab a couple future, first round draft picks, and at least get something of value for Monroe while they still can, and completely blow the thing up. For all the flack Isaiah got in New York, and rightfully so, Joe Dumars may have buried the Pistons even further than Thomas buried the Knicks. Take a look at his moves the last 6+ season, more specifically, everything he's done since he got fleeced in the Chauncey Billups/AI trade from November 2008 I think it was, it's been pretty much all downhill for the organization since, and most of it has had to do with Dumar's completely head-scratching moves.

Bunch of garbage games on tonight.

Only playoff team match-up is Cavs vs. Nets and that's only because the Nets are in the charity case east.

Keep in mind, I still expect to see Cleveland in the ECF....they just have some issues to work out still (like most teams) and aren't as unbeatable as some overly optimistic predictions.

Currently, I just don't see the east beating the west this year unless they (Bulls, Raptors, Cleveland) continue to improve. Spurs in particular are just grinding up people.
I agree, the West is looking even tougher this year. Now it looks like teams like Sacramento and New Orleans are factors in the West too. I don't expect either of those teams to make the playoffs, but it just shows how stacked the West is. In the East we have the 76'ers, the Knicks, and the Pistons. Those three teams are the biggest bunch of garbage in the whole league. I don't know how anyone could consider Carmelo Anthony to be a star player anymore. 4-18 lol.

One another note, does OKC even make the playoffs this year? The early injuries to Durant and Westbrook I think keep them out. The best they could hope for is catching Phoenix, and I don't even know about that. That's unfortunate for them.

Melo is good at one thing in particular and that's scoring. He has the ability to do everything else, but he focuses on scoring and that hurts his team.

As far as OKC, I actually think they will still make it. I thought they wouldn't at first because I thought Durant and Westbrook would be out longer, but now that they are back, they are only 4 games out of the last playoffs spot. Assuming they stay healthy, they should easily make up that ground. I would go as far as saying that by early January they will be in the top 8 again, barring injury to Durant or Westbrook.

Westbrook and Durant were healthy for that contest, combining for 50 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists.

OKC's style of play keeps teams in game. They have given up big leads over the years. When you have two players basically playing pick up basketball, and they go cold, the other team has a good chance of building momentum. Happens all the time with that team.

I'm concerned with some of the NBA players not being able to breath during warm-ups prior to NBA games; I have yet to see a medical professional of any kind rush out to assist them in these obvious moments of need.
