David West really wants that ring. Guess he didn't feel confident in the Spurs' chances. Maybe they could use Duncan to take some of his minutes.
the thing that irritates me about it, west talked all last year about how it wasnt about the ring, it wasnt about the money, it was about playing for his childhood favorite team, and being able to "learn the game, instead of being the veteran voice."
all lip service as his real intention was to ring chase all along.
nothing wrong with ring chasing, but damn man dont act like it wasnt about the ring for an entire season then jump ship to the flavor of the month to chase a ring. makes you look like a hypocrite.
Forget the team ball/system crap...this team just wants a title. I think just about any coach could shoe string a system together and have this team winning.
They lost the MVP, and their second best player to a serious injury.
