Has anyone noticed that their water tastes different the last few months? I cook a lot of things in boiled water, but noticed that everything I was cooking had this awful/strange taste to it, that it never had before. I bought a new sponge, dish soap, and pot, but had no luck with getting rid of the taste until I started buying bottled water to cook with. I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my pipes or faucet. Is anyone else having this issue?

What part of town are you in. Could be an isolated thing. The only thing I can think of is contact the water company. I would also collect samples of the "tainted" water.

Sometimes in apartment complexes the water can taste different than it does in other places because of neglected or dirty plumbing.
