I know I have mentioned this before, but why are drivers so rude lately? It used to be so nice to have people let me in when I wanted to get over etc. Is it here or everywhere that people are being this way? I encountered 2 people that were so rude today I wish people would just be nice!! I also do have to say, though, that the drivers here in general are better than south Florida divers, I should know, I used to live there!

I think they're particularly nice. For every rude guy/gal I run into (not literally), I see many other nicer people letting people in and letting others merge.

Having said that, this afternoon WILL NOT be a good day. Every time there's a problem on the freeway or other major streets, drivers lose all of their patience. I'm not leaving the apartment for another hour or so because when the interstate backs up, they all exit off to Jefferson and head up through MidCity. And it generally takes forever to get out from my place onto Jefferson and then back in. Sometimes it seems that the people will block my entrance on purpose and then that really ticks me off.

And all of these intercity accidents just further prove the need for some form of bypass or spur freeways.

I am moving there from Mobile,AL and I will agree, most drivers just right down cut me off w/o any regards to to safety or care if I have kids on board. And forget being let in on merging into trafic, it as if those few extra seconds of kindness are going to cost them a arm & leg.

Believe me it is EVERYWHERE!When another driver actually does a good deed, after I come out of my few seconds of shock, I always wave and smile to thank them, and they too look equally shocked. It is a nice way to make someones day. I wish more drivers would display more courtesy and respect towards one another on our roads. It makes ya feel good and more should try it!

Well, maybe if Baton Rouge didn't have so many two-laned main thoroughfares, traffic won't be so bad. It's no wonder why a Project Green Light exist. The infrastructure of this city is terrible. New Orleans isn't much better, but at least a greater portion of our main roads are at least 4 lanes.
