What are your favorite lunch places that are open on the weekends? Downtown preferred.

The best food is on Galviston and Newport, but downtown Barrio is great. Dojo (Kunpi) is
Good but wildly overpriced.

Plank has good sandwiches. Pizza Mondos. Deschutes. Brother Johns (Westside location is significantly better which makes me sad)

The new euro dinner Drake is good but again overpriced (a few bucks over priced so not a bunch but if you live here you notice) like just about everything downtown. It's hard to find anything bad, but you can get superior and tasteir food just 1/4 mile away.

Have I mentioned Barrio yet downtown? But seriously. Not over priced and some of
The best food in town. Small resturant though...so make reservations over the weekend.

Bario is not open for Lunch on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Drake rated at 66% on Urban Spoon. DRAKE - Bend | Urbanspoon

What did you like about it?

Bendlocal, You live in Bend what are your favorites?

Haven't made it to Barrio or Plank, wanted too just not enough days there yet.

We ate lunch a NOI thai for lunch during our recent visit and it was a nice experience. My 8 year old really wants to go back there and eat at their sunken dining table (raised deck and you sit on cushions makes it appear that way)

I really like Jackson's Corner which might be classified as downtown? at least it is in Old Bend district.

Got it, where are you favorite other dining spots in Bend? Or where do locals eat out?

We had a very good outdoor breakfast at Chow one morning before going to Tumalo falls.

So many choices for a small city, it would take a while to go to them all unless you eat out all the time!

How about compared to Dandy's Drive-In or Jake's Diner?

For the best beer selections -

Broken Top Bottle Shop and Ale Cafe, which also has very good food, a local hangout, and my favorite place to stop in for a brew.

Platypus Pub | Good Beer & Good Grub. Food here too but I haven't tried it yet. As far as I know the biggest beer selection in town.
