On page 3 of that document it gives historical data of the population for every year from 1970-2003. Seems pretty factual to me.

The following page and paragraphs go into projections into the future (from 2003).

First, how accurate are those figures? This is the footnote at the bottom of the chart -

IF you look at the historical numbers, (Meaning Historical as in happened in the past,) those are not guesses. I am not sure why you feel the need to argue with that and have yet to see you produce any numbers that dispute my statement. The statement made in 2004 backs up my statement above, no more no less.

As far as I know the historical figures are just estimates too.
