My son died on that stretch of hwy 11, near mm99.....why isn't there a guardrail there!? It would have saved my son's life.
I'm devastated and distraught losing my son. That hey needs driving improvements, like ANY other hwy in the world.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son. But realistically, there are a lot of highways where there is no guardrail (for reasons from lack of space to place one, to cost). Highway 1 in California has numerous places where there is no shoulder, no guardrail and it's 100'+ straight down into the ocean. Every year they lose folks going off that highway.
The world is a dangerous place and there's only so much we can do.
