I'm looking for the cheapest way to ship my motorhome to the Big Island. Any help would be appreciated. Note, it has solar panels and a compost toilet and will be driven only to my country property, so please no nasty comments.

If it is to be parked for a long time in one spot, you may want to build a roof for it. Frequently things like shipping containers and trailers spring leaks when they are left out in the rain all the time. It also keeps them cooler, if there is enough roof overhang to shade the sides of the trailer/motorhome.

my motorhome is really, really big and my prop(like most) is in its own micro-climate(cloud-forest) and the VOG not a problem. I'd appreciate real answers to my Q, not subtle attempts to deter me. GREG,The big island is 4040 sq. mi.,a veritable mini-continent. and thanks jimbo.

It was not legal to have, or register, a motorhome on Oahu until the last year, so I think you will not find many here who have any experience in shipping one to the islands.
I don't know about the Big Island. Each county has its own rules about motor vehicles.
