I am moving to the Big Island in April, one of the things that I had not thought of was whether or not I would have television reception off of an antenna or would I have to get satellite. I will be in the Nanawale Estates area. I don't watch television much but would like to get some local news. Anybody? Thanks,

Where on the BI? It will matter quite a bit. With the transition to digital signals, the result is that the digital signal has a lessor range. It also has an issue when you have a marginal signal. The tuner wants to see a "full" signal and will simply blank out into scrambled blocks of pixels. The old analog signals could still be received, if marginally, just with "snow" and occasional static.
