Ill probably be moving in once work is completed. I'm trying to find a website for the city government and chamber of commerce where are they?

What about utility companies, grocery stores, hospitals, Wally world, Home Depot, etc

Looks like they can't afford to pay to keep their website up. But they have a facebook page that shows an expired link.

There are no hospitals and the Wal-Mart closed, there is a Home Depot.

Wow that's pretty bad. I cant find much info on the place. Looks like they are (need to be ) absorbed by the county.

Do they have a police or fire dept, where is they nearest hospital?

Yes they have police and fire...barely.

UAB medical West in Bessemer and Princeton in Birmingham are closest hospitals.

Alabama Power and Birmingham Water Works provide those utiliities.

Fairfield is probably the least desirable place to live in the Birmingham metro area in terms of services offered, functioning government, and crime levels.
