Driving past Legacy Arena on 20/59 head west, you can visually see they have already knock down a section of the exterior wall of the arena revealing the inside. I think they are remodeling the exterior portion first, then redoing the inside.

If they wanted to make it happen with the bulls, they should update boutwell auditorium and let the bulls play there.

Latest views from the remodel of Legacy Arena. More work has been done than people would have guess. They did start work April 2.

They've made a lot of progress already. I wish they would release the interior renderings.

Three things I'd love to see as part of the interior renovation

1) LED Ribbons between the lower and upper deck. Such as at most arenas/stadiums around the country
https://www.daktronics.com/en-us/pro.../indoor-ribbon

2) Luxury suites somewhere

3) One of those new model center scoreboards that are popping up in arenas all over the country. Such as in Houston and Atlanta

I see that they removed all of the hard plastic seats that had probably been there since the arena opened. I hope they install seats like this.

From a business standpoint, they need to partner with companies that book big-time artists (Top 40 artists/superstars) to arenas. I hate having to go to Atlanta, Nashville, or NOLA to see tier 1 artists while Birmingham gets B list artists and artists that should have retired decades ago.. how many times can Elton John come to one city?

Your first two are probably a given. The scoreboard that's there now was installed I think back in 2015 when Legacy Credit Union bought the naming rights to the arena. It was an huge upgrade from the one that was there since like forever.

I'd pay just to see some interior renderings at this point.

I feel like if they are just doing basic modernization Chip & Joanna style by getting rid of all the 70s style Brady Bunch decor with the shag carpet, popcorn ceilings, terraced floors, beaded curtains it would be a vast improvement.

The renderings for the glass atrium entrance look pretty sharp.
