Everyone we talk to just seems to love it. My question is... is anyone familiar with any of the builders outside of Signature Homes. We are looking at a home built by Haven Homes and want to make sure they are reputable/quality builders. I would think Ross Bridge holds their builders to a certain standard but we want to make sure!
Oh, also, I grew up in Birmingham so am very familiar with it but how things have changed in the 15 years I've been in Atlanta, GA.
The company I work for does subcontract work for both Haven Homes and Signature Homes. On the whole they are both decently built houses/good foundations. Signature Homes offers a lot more customizing and their houses tend to be more expensive because of things put in the house not necessarily quality of building. I would buy a Haven Homes house.

Have you looked at The Preserve in Hoover? We were considering Ross Bridge or The Preserve a couple of years ago when we came in from out of state. We live in The Preserve and love it. The main drawback to Ross Bridge is that it is a bit off the beaten track. We love how close we are in The Preserve to virtually everything in the Bham area. Come check us out-several homes are available and there are lots to build your dream home on. The pool and other common facilities cannot be beat. Great family or empty nester neighborhood-plenty of both here.
