I had no idea that they were in pursuit, of a cancer center approval. This is good, as I am a big with St. Jude donations!

I noticed today that part of the sign was down. Interesting.

I never really thought it was THAT bad. Plenty of ugly billboards and abandoned buildings and overgrown lots were way bigger eyesores to me, but I suppose the Pepsi sign was just seen by so many people so often.

I think it's positive in the sense that it not only recognizes the good things happening, but suggests Birmingham should have the expectation of legitimate growth as a result. Plus, it's great for the city to be featured on Citylab/Atlantic Cities in a positive light.
