How often does it reach 100 degrees? (Boise, Hope: living, safe, move)

I've been trying to find out how often it reaches 100 degrees or higher in Boise. My husband's requirements for anywhere we move are that it is safe and cooler than where we are now.

Depending on the year... we can have between 5-20 days over 100*.

8 days a year on average. Two to three years ago we hit 100 twice, last year was probably more like 15.

So I think the answer is less often than you'd think, but it isn't an unusual occurence. I like living someplace where our summer high is over 100 and our winter low is below 0. The dry air makes both cold and hot temperatures more comfortable.

Exactly !
It gets cold in the winter in Boise, but it's not a "messy" winter. and the summers can be hot, but its a burst of summer heat that's maybe 'bout 6 weeks long, but dry like the winter. Great climate - personally, best I've ever lived in which includes the following states besides ID: WV, GA, TX, MO, NM, CO & the Puget Sound area of WA.
