Most of the meteorologist reporters are saying that most of this smoke is coming from the massive fires in Canada right now, especially the one in British Columbia, Canada that has been burning since July 6th.
Not that I know of... some area's are better then others because of pockets(Like Gekeler Lane area) or on a mesa where the wind blows more(Out by Micron or Kuna area)... the closest to perfection would be on top of Bogus Basin Ski resort
Advance apologies if the question is stupid, how bad is the inversion in the North End? My 10-year old had asthma that has been quiet for 1-2 years, we are considering a move.
We're looking at moving to the Boise area and we're wondering if there are any areas (within an hour or so) of Boise that you can live to avoid the inversions.
1 hr? Would that be Emmett, Parma, Plymouth, Caldwell, Mountain House, Firth, Jerome, Star or Meridian?

I live in the North End and have asthma. Have been here for two winters and haven’t been bothered by the inversions yet.
