I have read some of these but need to go back and reread them. So what lifechanging books would you add and why. Not necessarily books you really loved but ones which truly did inspire you to make life changes.

I liked Rich Dad, Poor Dad, just because of the pay yourself first concept.

I think the Five Love Languages book opened my eyes to relationships (not just my romantic one, but with all people).

Who Moved My Cheese? was another quick read that changed my attitude towards change.

I just copied the top part of the list from the link, to save for future reference. I've read eleven of the books on the list, and I agree with some, and have no quarrel with the rest. Good list. Ignore all the comments below the top alphabetical list.

If I were to add one, it would be James Agee's "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men". Maybe also Bernhard Schlink's "The Reader".

The list wisely left out religious/spritual titles, but Lao Tzu's "Tao Te Ching" would certainly go on my list.

I always liked The Master Key System by Charles F Haanel and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
