Good Books Under 400 pages?? (novels, cover, book club, author)

I know this has been mentioned in some other threads, but I thought I might bite the bullet and just put it out there. I am often hesitant (resistant even!) to start a book with over 400 pages. Of course I do, and usually can stick with it and finish it and obviously there are many great ones I have enjoyed.
I am taking a stab at this and asking - please do not judge - can we have a thread with good books that are less than 400 pages?And, if they are closer to 300 all the better.
There is something to be said for finishing and feeling accomplished.
I will happily suggest a few that I adored and happened to be well under 400 pages.

Well, 'good book' really doesn't mean anything. I mean, just because I like a book - and fancy it a good book - doesn't mean you will like it and consider it the same.
If you want books of less than 400 (or 300 pages), there are endless lists of award-winning, critically-acclaimed books online. Such books will almost always have a Wikipedia page, and those pages include a box in the upper right with data about the book, including page counts.

Yes I realize that it's not a very high class request I was making and I recognize that we all have very individual taste. That said though, I often get recommendations from the What are you reading now thread. I just thought maybe if people had a great book to suggest and remembered that it was not a very big book, that would be most welcomed.
I did suggest a few that were very well liked and also well under 400 pages.
It's more that I am asking for good reads that are less than 400 pages.
Hopefully people will join in.

Okay, but for anyone making suggestions, I'd think there should be some information, something to recommend it apart from being shorter.
Here are a couple of books less than 400 pages that I liked:
The River Sea: The Amazon in History, Myth, and Legend by Marshall De Bruhl
Little Shoes by Pamela Everett
These are new suggestions for me so thank you very much, especially Little Shoes. Sometimes I just go by the title.
Eveningsun--- That is a great suggestion (but I read it already). That's what I was hoping to yield from this thread.
Cida-Speaking only for myself, I often just say that something was a very good read or I enjoyed it. We are all so varied in our taste but I find especially being on the forum for as long as I have been, there are some people whose taste aligns very much with mine. Even so, I appreciate all suggestions.
I am asking for recommendations, and asking to filter out longer books which have their merit for sure------just at this point trying to find some shorter books as at this point I am more inclined to try them.
I get the page numbers from goodreads, and they match sometimes when I have the hardcover (or paperback) in hand. May be psychological, but knowing how many pages gives you situational awareness when flipping through kindle pages lol.
