Hi,

I am looking at a condo in the Regency Park complex, which is located at 1731Beacon St (right near the Star market).

Does anyone have any feedback or insight into the building? It has a lot of great amenities, which is attractive to me. I'm wondering about noise level, quality of service, responsiveness of management and personnel etc. It seems like you can walk everywhere which is important to me too and it appears to be a safe and good neighborhood. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I lived right around the corner from there for a few years (on beaconsfield rd), moved last year to save some money. It is really a great neighborhood, plenty of things to do within walking distance, and you have easy access to both the C and D line. Since I was a bit further off Beacon, I cant comment much on the noise, but I doubt its too bad... as long as you're used to normal city noise (including the T which will run from about 6am-12:30am everyday) You have a few busy dive bars closer to cleveland circle that may cause some loud people stumbling by to make some noise on the weekends... but I'm not sure about that. Noise will also depend greatly on what floor you're on, and if you're facing beacon or not IMO.

That shaws is pretty small, and not all that great... but its nice to have grocery store that close by.

What else... The area is really safe, and the backroads around there have some of the nicest houses I've ever seen. Good mix of young professionsals, college kids and young families (with a few older people mixed in)

I really miss it
