B's or C's?
I would say the Celtics. Although popularity is about even Celtics fans tend to generate some buzz because they are far more optimistic than Bruins fans. So people who aren't really into sports probably would be more interested in the Celtics right now.

I have been a life long Bruins fan and so are my relatives in Malden and Melrose, I used to listen to the broadcast on WBZ which reached my corner of Ohio. I was thrilled when Columbus got a team and went to see the Bruins any time they were playing there along with a whole lot of other displaced fans in the area. Thankfully front row seats are easy to get at Nationwide arena.

great pictures.

I am a huge hockey fan :-) But I really do not like pro basketball at all. I have occasionally gone to see our team the Trailblazers play at The Rose Garden. it is more fun in person. We do not have a pro hockey team. But do have a junior team and they are fun to watch. We also do not have any college hockey. I prefer college to even the pro's but I have never been to a professional game.

How's the buzz now for the Celtics? Bigger than the Red Sox?

Not really apples to apples. April baseball vs playoff basketball, I don't think you compare the relative buzzes.

I've never been much of an NHL fan. The regular season is basically a long exhibition season since just about all the teams make the playoffs. I think college hockey is much better since there's a sense of urgency with every game instead of players counting dollars paid per minute on the ice.

The 2017 Celtics are a good story. The 5'9" guard who comes off the scrap heap in a trade to be one of the scoring leaders in the league. A bunch of well coached role players who play as a team and who play defense. It's not your typical elite team with the future hall of fame players. I don't have to root for the "Anybody But LeBron" teams in the playoffs this year.

Patriots are in the stratosphere

Red Sox are above the atmosphere

The Bruins & Celtics constantly get in each others way when circling Logan

The Revolution are still driving around in an old VW Bug

...my analogy of the popularity of the Pro teams at this time

An old VW Bug at least has some nostalgia value.

I didn't renew my Revs season tickets this year. With 2 wins, 3 losses, and 4 ties, it's a lousy product even at their rock-bottom price point that throws in close-in parking. The level of talent is awful.

Agreed. To be fair, this is a problem in 90% of MLS teams. American soccer isn't going to happen.

I have a question that's kind of related but not related visiting here for the first time in 11 years I looked it up and there's only one or two ice rinks in the city of Boston itself what happened is it much more of a suburban sport now?
That's basically the same issue in Minneapolis, but Counting the U of M there's at least 6 rinks in that City itself and double that if you include St Paul
