It doesn’t matter. She was breaking the law. Is this acceptable now? If officials break the law why would constituents behave otherwise? People on City council must be examples of following laws.

She's been driving without a license since 2013? It hardly seems possible.

She doesn't care. She is above all that. She can't be bothered. Go ahead, say something about it. You're obviously racist and or hate women.

I thought the "rolls-eyes" emoji would convey my sarcasm pretty clearly. Apparently not. No, she doesn't deserve to hold office and she's beyond extremely irresponsible. Her excuses are absurd.

So she was driving on a license that was revoked for driving on it after it was initially suspended? And this, according to her, due to "bureaucratic issues with the RMV". Over the course of 10 years? Far more likely due in my opinion, to poor impulse control and a wanton disregard for the rule of law, coupled with a toxic sense of entitlement and self-importance. And she's a blatant liar. Not that this particular character flaw makes her a bad politician.

No worries, sarcasm doesn't always translate well on forums like this.

The "poor me" schtick is just so ridiculous. RMV trouble is very relatable. I had to fight them for similar reasons several years back. But there's no good excuse for any of this nonsense. She'll probably end up getting reelected too.
