Could you provide name/contact number suggestions for shared airport shuttle services. I need to go back and forth between Lexington, MA and Boston Logan International Airport and Uber/Lyft/Cab seems costly and inconsistent in prices.

I am hoping for a more economical option that is possible through these shared rides to and from between Boston Logan Airport and Lexington, MA.

Just drive to Woburn and hop on the Logan Express. It's every 30 minutes.

And getting to that boarding point, from Lexington via 128 to the s**tshow Washington St exit, can be a battle in itself.

OP: Have you looked into the shared ride option on Uber / Lyft? Far more carefree, believe me. There's something to be said for reducing stress on either end of air travel.

One can get Woburn Express from Lexington without getting on 128. It takes a little longer but doable.

Yeah, I know...very familiar with the area. But budgeting extra time from Lexington is one more set of hassles to contend with before an air trip IMO...seems a lot to go through to avoid a direct shared ride.

The Woburn Express bus will drop you off right at your termiinal which Uber cannot.

Depends on where you're going. Terminal B...the ride share dropoff is steps away from the check-in area, even on the same level.

Even for Terminals A & C, it's probably a 7-10 min walk max. Doesn't outweigh IMO the time and hassle spent driving to the Logan Express lot from Lexington.

Slight aside, but a good workaround for this is Uber/Lyft Black since those drivers can do curbside.

It all depends how how much you are willing to pay and if the extra 10 minutes of driving to Logan Express is worth it.

Right now (yeah it's snowing out) from Lexington Center to Logan is:

Uber X $44
Uber Black $96
Shared Uber Not Available.

The last part is the case I usually find - I've never been able to successfully share an Uber on the app.

Yeah I can see it costing a lot more from somewhere like Lexington. From Boston/Brookline it's usually only an extra $5-10 for Black over X and thus usually well worth the convenience of curbside.
