Yea, I've heard that Atlanta actually has some of the best strip clubs in the country. I guess the pro athletes (especially the NBA players) love playing in Atlanta just for that reason.

No Boston does not. Bostonians go to Providence for adult entertainment. You can get anything you want in PVD.

My primary concern is actually to soak up some History. I am a student of US history and cant wait to see the places I've studied.

But, we all need downtime, which is preferably "up time".

I hear you. You should have no problem with the history aspect of town. Boston has two strip clubs that I know of. The Glass Slipper and Centerfold's are the primary two in town (They're right next to each other in the Theatre District. From what I hear (honestly, I've never been to either one) Glass Slipper is a bit more "blue collar" while Centerfold's is supposedly a bit more classy.

For "down" time, there are plenty of pubs on Lansdowne Street near Fenway Park and around Faneuil Hall. There are some more upscale nightclubs in the Theatre District. It's a great city to party in, but not the best for adult entertainment.

Centerfold's is a quality club, and the girls are top notch, but it's expensive. $20 cover, $9 domestic beers, dress code etc. If you get there before 9pm, the cover is $10 and you can avoid the dress code. Unfortunately there are no drink specials here in MA.

As Irfox mentioned, The Glass Slipper it right next door and there is no cover. But of course you get what you pay for.
