Hi Everyone,

In a few months I am planning a trip to Denver and plan to see Boulder while I am there. I know NOTHING about Colorado! What is the difference between Boulder and Denver as far as the people, nightlife and social scene for a 20-30 year old?

Thanks so much for your input!

boulder has a crazy night life. if you go to 'pearl street mall' there's TONS of bars. there's also 2 music venues the fox and the boulder theater.

boulder is more college age kids 20-30 and the bar scene is big on pearl and they are all within 5min walk of each other mainly so that is a plus, not to sure about denver but it is a big city compared to boulder so you would probably do more driving and see older people at bars

Denver has several walkable entertainment districts, LoDo (Lower Downtown) being the most well-known one. It does not have an entertainment district that caters solely to college kids, but you'll see plenty of 20-somethings in Denver. Denver also has more true nightclubs (like the Church), with Boulder being more college bars. I'm not much of a bar person so can't help you with specifics, sorry. Maybe check out the Westword for more info on Denver.
