So we are thinking of staying in Boulder for New Year's Eve, yes, tomorrow. We live in Thornton so no biggie getting there.

The Boulderado is just too pricey as is St. Julien.

Where else can we stay that's close to the Pearl St. Mall (assuming that's where the festivities will be). We aren't looking for 5 star, but not a hooker hangout either. Any replies will be greatly appreciated!!!!

There is a Marriot down Canyon Blvd. You could probably take a taxi to Pearl Street, it's about 5 minutes away by car. And the Marriot does have decent prices with nice accommodations.

Hi cpm, we've about given up. See, we could stay at the Sheraton (used to be Adams Mark) smack downtown Denver for $180. The Marriott in Boulder is $170. So I guess between the two I'd rather be in Denver.

It's our own fault for waiting too long. Thanks so much for trying to help.

It looks like the Harvest House (at 28th & Arapahoe) has rooms for $99.00.
Millennium Harvest House Boulder - Room Availability

It's a good hotel. It's not on the Pearl Street Mall, but it's a not terrible walk, or a very short cab ride.

Even better, RTD offers plenty of free service New Year's Eve: (HOP is a circulator service that serves anywhere you might want to go back and forth from the Harvest House)

Free bus service set for New Year's Eve (http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2008/dec/29/free-bus-service-available-new-years-eve/ - broken link)

New Year’s Eve revelers can take advantage of free transit services again this year.

Hop bus service will be free from 7 a.m. Wednesday until midnight Thursday.

The Black, Gold and Silver Line Late Night Transit Service will be free from midnight until 3 a.m. Thursday.

Regional Transportation District services -- including bus and light rail service, access-a-Ride, skyRide and the Skip, Jump, Bound, Dash, Stampede and Bolt -- will be free from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday.

I just checked and it looks like it's now called the Rodeway Inn? Anyway, it's pretty far from Pearl St. Bummer. But thanks!

Suzco: Actually Millenium was something we were really considering. When I called, this guy said they normally have a shuttle but that it's out of commission. I wasn't aware of the Hop. I'll check it out more, maybe we can stay off the couch this new year's eve!! yipee! thanks...

Oh and we didn't need to be exactly on the Mall, we don't mind walking, I just thought that Millennium was unwalkable.

Well, thanks everyone, but I've given up. We both have to work and our jobs have been very busy and now I'm feeling old like going out on a Wed. would just kill me. lol

Anyway, thanks again. And next year I'll plan better.
