Hello Everyone,

My husband and I are thinking about relocating to the Boulder area. What are some affordable communities close by? We just want to rent an apartment for a while to see how things work out for us. I am an in home personal trainer so I cannot live in a mountainous, remote area. A family oriented community would be perfect for my business. We have 2 dogs and we love the outdoors. Shopping and restaurants are a big plus as well.

We have wanted to relocate to this area for some time and we are finally at a point in our lives where we can do it. Thanks so much for any and all suggestions.

Christina

I would probably check out the neighborhood of Gunbarrel. Close to Boulder, lots of condos for rent and reasonably priced.

Good luck!

As 2binDenver asked, how close? what is affordable to you?
Check out Lafayette, Louisville, Longmont, Superior, Broomfield, Westminster. If you do a search here you'll find plenty of info. Good luck!

Thanks guys, this should get me started. How affordable? Maybe a small apartment for $1,000/mo or less. How close? Maybe within 20 minutes or so. I'll look around this forum for some good info as well.
