Thank you so much. We are looking for something with enough room for two horses*, house size 2500-3000 sqft.. on at least 5 acres. We're older, own our home here and don't want to go into debt now. We need to keep it under $700K. It's tough not to want something set up as what we have in Tejas. We don't desire an enormous house, just nicely planned and detailed. We built the home we have here on 25 acres. We made it smaller, but nice, using reclaimed pine floors, (stuff like that) doing a lot of work ourselves to save money. We've ruined ourselves, and Brighton RE just doesn't (so far) offer anything quite right.

So we're a mess. I've made it sound like we're living in a perfect place for us--no, only (to us) our house and site. We're totally out in BFE here.

*We have two horses we somehow keep taking with us, despite fact they are now pets/lawn ornaments/hay-burners. We do have option of leaving them here.

Thanks again for helping us not step into a pile here. (We've cleaned a few off our shoes as it is.)

I would look in Brighton and in Henderson, maybe also Firestone. There are larger horse properties in your price range in all of those areas.
