Hello!! My husband and I are newlyweds looking to relocate back to our home state with particular interest in Longmont. Looking around the Longmont area we found several homes in the Spring Valley subdivision just off of 17th street between Alpine and Pace. Before we make any offers on homes in Spring Valley I wanted to ask some locals their advice regarding the area.
Is Spring Valley a good neighborhood or are there issues we should consider before moving there? Any assistance that you can offer would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance for your help!!

If Spring Valley is part of Ute Creek, I think it is supposed to be pretty nice around there. I do know someone at the Ute Creek apartments, and they have been happy with the area.

I live nearby in the Sugar Mill Farms/Rider Ridge subdivision, and I personally have no complains with any area around here. Plenty of parks, venues, friendly people, nice homes...only thing that I think that needs to be addressed is the poor road conditions on Alpine and a number of side-streets.
