No wonder American stadia have boring atmospheres! You should be a fan not a spectator!

Can you back this up with any firsthand experience or just a cliche? I guess all soccer games in Europe end in riots?

Some sports here have better atmosphere than others. I don't know what the horn talk is about but I've never heard horns at an boxing card I've watched on PPV.

College football over here has great atmosphere. Students and lifelong fans make for a great time.

All depends on the team and venue Paul. Some cities have more spirited fans than others.

Even with the deductions, which WERE warranted, I though Khan did enough to win the fight. Was a good fight, but come on, he's lucky to have only had 2pts taken away with all the shoving and pushing.

For those who may not have seen the fight, here is a compilation of the more egregious shoves:

Fair dos, he did deserve deductions but he still should have won the fight, it makes for a great re-match anyway! Hopefully in the UK or Europe.

I think Richard Schaefer mentioned the Staples Center in L.A. as a possible venue for the potential rematch.

Does anyone think that Lamont Peterson has what it takes to fight in the big leagues PPV style aka PBF, Pac, Marquez, etc?

I dont think so. At least not yet. He had a few good rounds in this fight though, but he's hardly someone who would pull in good PPV numbers.

I have to add to your comment about Marquez being a "big league" PPV guy - I have to disagree. While I thought he beat Pacman in 2 of those 3 fights, the ONLY reason he is even mentioned as a PPV person is because he's Mexican. If he were from like, Cleveland and his name was Phil NO WAY would he be a PPV fighter. NO WAY!! He's only mentioned as a PPV because the Mexicans LOVE boxing and they LOVE their countrymen. How else could you or anyone in the world explain why NO TALENT Chavez jr is on PPVs. ONLY because Aram knows that Mexicans will pay to see their guys fight. Thats it.
