Hi we are a small family of 3 who are relocating in 3 years. We are big skiers and are concerned about lots of good skiing, sunshine, water nearby, good schools and feeling like part of the community. Our daughter will be in 3rd grade going in to 4th when we relocate. We will be semi retired and are in education and law enforcement/ firefighting. Work is important but not paramount. We are used to the cold from Upstate new york. Any opinions are appreciated. thank you

Bozeman is great. My boyfriend and I just moved here from Connecticut, and I think you'll find all the things you're looking for. Bozeman is a very rapidly growing area, and new opportunities seem to continuously pop up. People are very friendly and welcoming as well.

thank you very much for your reply. My husband will be in Bozeman this week to look at stuff and ski Bridger. I would love to make a decision since moving - even a few years from now- is stressful with a child. We just want to make the right choice. So far everyone ive met or spoken to from Bozeman is just so nice. Good luck to you

Kimos, you'll want to look closely at housing prices. It's expensive in Bozeman. You say that your semiretired, so perhaps money will not be a big concern for you, but housing costs vs salaries are not very good in Bozeman.
