Hi...I currently attend a RC church in West Seneca, which is slated to close in 3-6 months. This church is not traditional in so much as we dont have pews...we have an open seating space and use chairs and we do not pass a basket...we take up collection at the back of church. This church is very family/community oriented and is very accepting of all who enter regardless of your income. We also have a great uplifting music ministry and a LifeTeen worship service.
Does anyone know of any churches in the area that would fit this criteria? I have been an active member of this parish for 20 yrs and dont want to return to a "traditional" catholic church. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
the newman center at University of Buffalo, although no youth group as of yet - but an awesome priest and a wonderful community!!!!!!!!!!!! North campus, in the summer we have church outside in the tent!!! come and visit
thanks for the info CA, but the neuman center is a bit farther than we would like to travel. We were thinking more along the lines of lancaster, ws, cheektowaga, hamburg areas.
I'm glad you asked. You're on right track and doing your home work. Good and smart move.
Did you look at "Yellow Pages"? What is listed before and after your church?
Did you ask your preacher for recomendations? Where other members will go?
"Keep on looking and you'll find it."
