Although I am not Polish one of the best things about where I grew up outside of Detroit was the great Paczki's we either ordered a week in advance or stood on line at the bakery on Fat Tuesday to purchase.

We are new to Buffalo and I was hoping to see something on the news about Paczki Day here.... haven't as yet.

Can anyone tell me where we can get Paczkis? Somewhere now to far from the Parkside area?

I was searching for an answer to that. I remember getting them ordered to school back there. If you find out please post it.

Sorry to be so late with this response, but I believe I saw some in the bakery section at Premier Gourmet (at Delaware & Sheridan) the other day -- maybe somewhere to check next year. Hope you found some this year!

After you posted this, I saw in the MetroSource and the LancasterDepew Bee that the Polish Heritage Society had a Polish Day complete with all the items like Pazckis -- it was held at the Hearthstone Manor. Maybe you could contact the place for the contact to who held it... and be ready for next year,

Was raised in Buffalo with a polish background. Never heard of Paczki day until in the early 1980's in michigan. I think it was nothing more than a way to sell donuts.
