Hello all,

How far up Delaware Ave does the parade go? I would really rather walk instead of having to find a parking spot downtown. Thanks!!!!

I believe last year it went from Niagara Circle to North St. But I could be wrong.

I don't know where you live, so it's hard to say if you should drive. A lot of people will be paying $5-$10 to park in those surface lots along S Elmwood Ave near Johnson Pk. But I bet you could find street parking in Allentown. You could probably find a parking spot on Virginia or Carolina St too; that's a pretty short walk to the parade route as well.

I live close to Children's hospital, so walking down to North wouldn't be a problem at all. Thank's!

WOW!!! What an awesome experience that was today! The first good weather day in St. Patrick's Day Parade Buffalo - in history! Sunny with temp reaching near 60! Surely an unforgettable experience to say the least! I will hope to see everyone next year - it would make a great Buffalo Area Forum get-together meet.

Back in '81 or '82 we had temps in the 70's on parade day. I remember because I was working at a Stop-n-Go at the time and I sold a ton of beer that day.

Really? Wow, Dock that's interesting...still an awesome parade with perfect weather conditions. 70's would be too warm IMO, especially right after a cold winter, heck, I was sweating yesterday in the hot sun and had to shed my Irish layers...

Check out this cool vid of the parade! What a perfect day...
