Lake Iroquois (Williston, Hinesburg, Richmond: living, beach, association)

What is this lake like?
Is it good swimming/boating?
Would it be a good place to live year round and/or seasonally?

I know some people who live there year round and they love it. I personally would consider living there year round if I were in your shoes.
The public beach is really nice, but small. Nice playground for kids. If you live in Richmond, Hinesburg or Williston you can get a pass for $25....residents of other towns for $50.
