My cousin recently moved to Burlington, and there's a concert at the Flynn Center we'd like to go to. Is it accessible by public transportation? Neither of us have a car, although if it's absolutely necessary we could probably borrow one. Thanks!

It is right downtown, so yes, you can get there via the CCTA.
CCTA - Chittenden County Transportation Authority

Thanks for that link, VTER!

The CCTA bus would bring you in at Cherry Street, and you'd enjoy a nice stroll down Church Street to The Flynn.

If you're coming from out of town on a bus, you'd likely come into the station at Pine Street. That's also just a short walk to The Flynn.

I'm knocked out by how much terrific live music is scheduled for The Flynn just in the next 3 months alone... even more than usual: Cecil Taylor, Toumani Diabate's Symmetric Orchestra, K.D. Lang, "5 Peace Band" (Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride and Brian Blade), Diana Krall, Branford Marsalis, Pink Martini, The Vermont Symphony Orchestra just for starters...

Enjoy!

Heck - Let me know... It might be a show I'm going to. I could offer a ride. Feel free to send me a "DM".

A number of CCTA buses go right down Main Street past the Flynn. You could get off within a block most likely.
