I'm sorry I'm listening a song now."It never rains in southern California."
Is it really?Never rains?Or it pours?
I'm come from southern China.So I don't know.

Due to the trade regulations and buying power of the dollar, we've been importing our rain from China of all places. It's just a lot cheaper that way. Union rainmakers in the US make it impossible to have domestic rain.

Southern California has a "rainy season", generally from around October until April. It rarely rains between mid-April and early October though.

Even during the rainy season, it is sunny on most days.

I hate that song

We do get rain usually from November to the end of March. This past winter we picked up several inches of rain and snowfall for the mountains of Southern California, but then we have dry summers and everything dries up quickly

That same weather pattern holds true across the state (it practically never rains anywhere in California during the dry season), but in Southern California in particular, there are longer periods of sunshine even during the rainy season, so it may be sunny for a week, rain for a few days, etc.

Clearly, the song is an exaggeration, but it "seems" like it rarely rains.

eh I just took the song like it was bashing Southern california because I saw it on Youtube and the comments were rude. People from the Northeast bashing Southern California and I just took it the wrong way I guess.

That's cool to hear from someone in China!
