I think in many cases people who say immigration mean illegal immigration. I'll bet that way over 90% of all immigration is illegal, maybe even over 99%. I expect probably most people don't really care about the legal immigration.

I agree with the above. I'm the same except my personal reason is just that the traffic and crowding and hassle have all increased so much over what LA (San Fernando Valley) used to be like. When I worked I had to be here because that's where the jobs were, but now I want a lower cost of living and a more peaceful place to live.

and as you know, we relocated for similar reasons. If there are no problems we just sold the last piece of property we owned in California. It should close escrow the first of Dec. Then we are totally non residence of the state. Not that we have been residence for years, but we will have no ties, except for a few relatives and friends there.
