Too many live in an artificial digital age, yet, the real California, the real America still exists, even in SoCal.

Incidentally, if you are a young man in search of pretty girls, that would be girls in Wranglers,

Heat, cold, flies, odors, dirty, not upwardly mobile, poor resume material (unless the farrier owns the business and is doing more than shoeing horses), back aching, on your feet all day, disconnected from the world (no 24/7 internet on your desk is a bad thing).

The Japanese have already invented a robot that renders farriers obsolete.

Nike is coming out with self-changing horseshoes. In fact, some of the deluxe shoes have "The Pump".

I always find it amusing when oldsters refer to the current world as "artificial" and long for the period that they grow up in. Why stop the technology train there though? Let's go back more....metal work? Artificial!

I also wonder why this is being posted on an artificial digital forum linking to an artificial digital news article. Certainly, it would have been more effectively communicated by hand printing the papers yourself and distributing them door to door.

Like Buckaroo-ing or wild land fire suppression, it is not a job for girls, I guess.

Fontucky, the idea is to farrierer until you meet a cute wranglerette, then marry her and raise horses, but yes, there are old farriers, read the article.

as per the article, a farrier can make $100,000 K a year, cute beats rich.
