Hello everyone Im new here I live in Scandinavia and age is 50 +
I have been thinking of buying a house in some place where its warm in the winter Dec -April
I dont require much one bdrm is enogh. However it need to have a large garage (at least 2 car) So apartments is out of the q.
Now i do like to know places where criminality is low because im going
to have a lot of stuff (for my hobbies) stored when im away.
So places were your neghbours are helpful and nice would be first priority
My pricerange is around 200k. Like I said I dont need to be close to
schools or anything else but I migth have to go to LA once
a week. Tell me anyrhing you know because i dont know anything about
housemarket in the States. Rental could be one thing but I dont think anyone
rents a house for a few months. I h ave also been thinking of buying a motorhome but the garage?

You have to define what you mean by warm winter. I ask this because people from everywhere else seem to think California is sunny and warm year round. The southern third of California can experience chilly night during the winter. As you go north and away from the water it definitely feels like winter with frosty mornings.

It isn't as cold as many other places, but it isn't as warm as people think.

I would like it to be over 50 F in daytime freezing during nigth no problem
but no snow Anything in Ca isnt like our winter
