Ugh I know!

The thing that is driving me nuts now is that we're in the process of changing banks for our business, and I can't close that account until the stupid check gets processed!

Default CA LLC.. it IS a super long processing time!

I'm trying to set up a brand new LLC and it's month 2 of waiting for me. No one answers the phone at the secretary of state and I had the same fear, that the check and the paperwork had been lost in the mail! I guess we're at the mercy of the gov and have no choice but to wait it out. What's remarkable to me is that they could easily do all this processing online and all the fees we're paying would be (supposedly) much needed revenue source for the state. I don't even pretend to understand!

At least they've got the paperwork so they can tout added companies/jobs.

Just kidding. Welcome to being a small biz owner in CA.
