There are number of reason people hate California.

1.Poor government they have no idea what they are doing all do is get more and more in debt

2.Lack of cities to choose from in California mean only handful of cities and just got too big .

3.High cost living because city are just too big .

4.High debt that is getting more and more out of control

1. The debt, as explained previously and on various threads, is due to Prop 13 and other laws limiting how the budget is used. Those laws, IIRC, were the result of citizen initiatives, not legislators who had no idea what they were doing.

2. Lack of cities to choose from? Business can choose any city. Fresno, for example, which a number of businesses inexplicably have chosen to abandon recently. There's Bakersfield. San Diego. Santa Barbara. Redding. Why not Arcata? Endless possibilities. Notice that tech developed in San Jose, not San Fran. Tesla located in Fremont. so...what are you talking about?

3. High cost of living in the big 2 urban areas isn't due to size. COL has always been fairly high in the Bay Area.

4. See #1.

Sorry I mean metropolitan / Urban city not each city or town.

If you look at the stats California - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

California has population of 38,041,430 and you got.

If you look at this List of California urban areas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You got .

Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana 12,150,996
San Francisco-Oakland 3,281,212
San Diego 2,956,746
Riverside-San Bernardino 1,932,666
Sacramento 1,723,634
San Jose 1,664,496
Fresno 654,628
Concord 615,968

That only 8 metropolitan area 600,000 and up .

You merged all of OC into LA. I'm surprised that Concord is it's own area on your list. It's east bay, northeast of Oakland near Walnut Creek, typically considered Bay Area, SFO metro area.
There's many more cities that what you listed in the Metro areas though. And 12 million more Californians in the rest of the state.

I'm not sure what the point is, here. As compared to what state? WA only has Seattle and Tacoma as major cities. Oregon? uh...Portland, and....Portland! So?

I think I'm not explaining it well most people ( population 600,000 and up ) are in those metropolitan areas above and other people ( population 600,000 and down ) are in smaller metropolitan areas.

This two problems .

1. 1/3 California population is in Los Angeles that how big Los Angeles metropolitan is !!
2.And only 8 metropolitan area for population 600,000 and up

Also Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana 12,150,996 people !! I think if way back long time ago if there where that say hollywood North just North of say San Francisco. The Los Angeles metropolitan will be only be 5,000,000 people today. Most of California is very concentrated.

OK, much of CA is very concentrated. Why would this lead people in other parts of the US to hate California?

If California had more metropolitan areas and the population more spread out than it be cheaper than what it is

I don't follow that logic, really. People don't want to live in the cheaper areas now in that great of numbers. That's why they live in the Metro areas. People like to live close to the beach, in the cooler areas, relatively speaking. Not that great a demand for the desert in the southeast and high desert, east side of the Sierra Nevadas, Central Valley, and most of Northern CA.
