Not all of the deep south is against it. Actually here in Atlanta, it's as common to see an interracial couple as it is to see a same race couple.

People always say that Southern California, particularly Los Angeles County, is ethnically diverse which is true. But it is also very segregated in that the races all flock together with the exception of Black men they tend to date outside their race more often than any other in Southern California probably 95% of them do for reasons that are not obvious. The racism in Los Angeles County is not blatantly open but the people that live in Los Angeles county can be very ignorant and I'm sick of the Hispanic/Black crime.
The further you go south of Los Angeles county the less ethnically diverse it becomes. Las Vegas was named a city with a high ratio of interracial marriages.

A guy posted his observations from a big shopping mall in LA and he said that over 90% of the couples that he viewed were with the same race. It sounded like an objective article. I can't remember the internet site that it was on.

LA County has some of the worst segregation in Southern CA, certainly more than San Diego.

I think Norcal, in the Bay Area and Sacramento are more friendly to interracial dating than segregated Los Angeles. Many ethnicities in the LA area are very ethnocentric.
