I wish there was something that could be done to get CA voters in on this. It's starting to look to me like Mitt Romney will win big. But we will still support Barack Obama. CA is supposed to lead the nation on making progress. But it's almost like we want to hold the US back.

Democrats have a lock on the term "progressive". People in California will vote for "progress" even if it lowers their standard of living to that of a 3rd world country.

This is one of those statement that makes me weep for humankind's stupidity. Progress on what? High taxes? High unemployment? Gridlocks? Underachieving and overcrowding schools? Unrestricted illegal immigration and the healthcare, education and social service cost that follow?

Not so much a stupid statement as clumsy. I'm with you on all those issues. But I don't think the voting majority in CA is ready for real positive change. The US is going to the right next Tuesday while CA continues left - off the cliff.

The white middle and upper class have been moving their companies, money and jobs out of the state, being replaced with much poorer people. That is the big reason, that California city and state tax receipts have been declining in double digit figures.

Obama is expected to get 95% of the black vote. But the big numbers near the same as the white population is the Hispanic vote that delivers 75% to 80% of the vote to the Democrats. Combined those two groups alone outnumber the white population in California.

Obama will get between 20% to 25% of the white vote.

With these demographics there is no way that the Republicans can win California.
POTUS will get between 45% or 50% of the white caucasian vote.
