It gets a bad rep for its economy, foreclosures, poor race relations, rampant drug use, and crime. Anyone have anything good to say about this city?

I want to visit this city now and see what people are talking about. It cannot be so bad. Does it have hordes of cannibal meth zombies roaming the street?

I can think of worse cities... but you'll have to search for the gems in Stockton. I recall some nice housing around the water ways but would definitely find an experienced realtor. Might also rent since there's an abundance of that available.

Stockton really does get a horrible rep from folks, but I'd bet that most of them haven't been there. There are quite a few nicer neighborhoods and a real effort on the part of the city to make things better downtown.

Once again very funny Snort.

Oddly enough, most of the episodes of Bait Car take place in Stockton and San Berdoo. Hmmmm... I wonder why?

Without devolving into city-bashing, I think it's fair to say that East St. Louis, Gary, Flint, and Detroit are way way worse than Stockton. I'd also throw in places like El Paso and Youngstown, but that's getting a little subjective.
