We're moving there and we're very excited, but I can't find anything about whether a mall is there or not. I've gone to all my fav stores on line and done the store locator thing and none are in Santa Maria. I know my best shopping would be Santa Barbara...but geez...is there ANYTHING in Santa Maria?

There's always Target/Walmart/Kmart & Kohls for the kids. When you get here, the mall is on main street.

Town Center Mall
There is a mall called the Town Center Mall, located Main Street and Broadway.
http://www.santamariatowncenter.com/ The mall is very small with lots of vacancies. Other than the stores that others mentioned in the area there is also a Mervyn's across the street from the mall. We also have Costco, Petsmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Linens and Things and quite a few other stores. Approx 30 miles north of Santa Maria is a college town called San Luis Obispo. They have quite a few stores there but they are spread out so you will have to get familiar with the area. They have an Old Navy, Gap, Barnes and Noble, etc.
