We Californians have taken it upon ourselves to solve global warming by restricting our C02 emissions. Turns out that this job killer program serves no purpose as global warming has not been occurring during the last 16 years and there is no link between global warming and our C02 output anyway. In fact the future may hold colder temperatures for us:

Climate Study: Evidence Leans Against Human-Caused Global Warming

So what's the chance that we wise up and turn away from the path we are on?

Well, Breitbart is always MY first choice for accurate reporting.
And the bibliography of the scientists, with all their credentials, who supported this report is truly astounding and impressive.

oh wait ... dang ... my bad ... there was no bibliography and not one of the "scientists" was identified

There is zero chance the idiots in Sacramento will wise up. There isn't a shovel big enough to whack some sense into their collective head all at the same time.

My only consolation is that I think I would rather enjoy a bicycle friendly, urban lifestyle. But I would appreciate being able to burn more than one light bulb at a time, and you can forget about running the A/C. Given that it's supposed to be colder, thank goodness natural gas has become much cheaper.

CA cutting Co2 emissions means squat when you have China and India spewing pollution in mass.

I think you might be correct as my landscaper told me exactly the same thing.

I read the article in both the Wall Street Journal and Reuters. I don't personally care what scientists they're talking about.

The line in the article I noticed was the oil company spokesperson stating that in order to comply with the new regulations there will be a "sharp spike in gas prices in California."

Does anything else really matter?

That’s the upshot of a new study in the journal Nature Climate Change that compared 117 climate predictions made in the 1990's to the actual amount of warming. Out of 117 predictions, the study’s author told FoxNews.com, three were roughly accurate and 114 overestimated the amount of warming. On average, the predictions forecasted two times more global warming than actually occurred.

BTW the warming did occur it just went into ocean water temperatures disproportionately more than in air temperatures. That's some what good for us but it still means the warming occurred.

The "reality" of pseudo science continues to fall before research based on data, not wishful thinking:
