You don't get that here in Redding. There is more ranching type properties here. No ag industry. No crop dusters, etc., like I used to see regularly between Davis and Woodland when I lived there. The air quality in Redding is good, IMO. I can smell the wildfires sometimes. That's about it.
If that's the case, then I suppose so. The way Chico's situated against the foothills can kind of act like a pocket for pollution. It's usually not very dense though except in the burn seasons. Generally speaking the air quality's not bad - or at least I don't notice it. But then, I grew up in Chico so my tolerance might be much different from someone who just moved here.
