HAHA......it is boring here...and too brown and dirty( and now everything looks dead due to drought)......there are much prettier states...like New England and the Pacific Northwest!

So, the also-rans most bitter about their fortunes in CA are MORE likely to stay put than those also-rans marginaly less bitter and who frequent CA message boards to complain about CA.

Okie-dokey.

Yes, as can be seen in many messages defending the indefensible. They also-rans can't afford to leave in general, so they try to claim it is all just beach party time.

Now since I am not an also ran, in that I could move back financially at will, but my wife would kill me if I did (Also born and raised in CA) I will not likely be doing so. Since I love the State I frequent the board, but since I am also realistic, I speak of the good and bad, rather than live in a fantasy world where life in CA is all roses. It isn't.

The ones who can't leave show their frustration by trying to make CA look like paradise (Thus claiming to be privileged to live there) and speak of the ones who left, and speak of the real issues, as though they were sore losers. Easy to identify the resident also-rans. They still live there and can't admit to reality. What is the poverty rate of CA????????

The reality can be seen by the ones who left and yet still like/love the State (at least what it was, not is) and do bring out the real problems and benefits for those who are thinking of moving to CA or staying.
