According to the 2014 population estimates (change the settings) there were 321,092 black Hispanics (less than 1% of the population). Very insignificant in a state of 38 million.

oh please, give it a rest. Interjecting 'ultra liberal hyper-sensitive' didn't add to this discussion. I call people by their names, try it sometime...that way you don't have to worry about "what" to call them.

But we want to put them in their proper place...don't we? It's the American Way! "You are this, and only this, so you go over there, stay there, and behave!"

Very true. But yet another classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.

With that said of course there are racist Latinos.

But the problem with statements like yours is people use their friends to represent entire ethnicities or nationalities of people all around the world.
Like minded people tend to hang around each other. It's a good chance that poster and his friends share the same neo-confederate views..

Its true they live together but there in lies the rub. The political seats gerrymandered for Black representatives in reapportionment now have Latino majorities. Schools named for African American heroes are now mostly Mexican American in attendance. Work room floors demand fluency in spoken Spanish. If there is a local gang presence the prison gang system sets the races up as enemy forces and a low key ethnic cleansing might occur.

Because of White flight generations before there are no white targets for anger so you have scenes like Florence and Normandie in the Rodney King Riots where Latinos being relatively light skinned and there were the initial targets since not many white folk were travelling through South Central LA towards Inglewood or back. Then as the demographics changed the local Crips and Bloods were increasingly bumping heads with 18th Street or MS-13 and not each other.

And I think black gangs in Los Angeles are slowly losing these confrontations. Hispanic gangs have a steady stream of impressionable new immigrants from which to recruit gang members from. Black gangs need to make due with the existing pool.

As their numbers have increased, hispanic gangs seem to have taken the confrontation to not only black gangs, but blacks in general. For example, hispanic gang members have sought to intimidate blacks from shopping in certain areas, and have pressured them leave apartments in other areas etc, and have murdered non gang affiliated blacks simply because they were black.

It was in the movie End Of Watch a couple a years ago. The OG two striker from a Bloods set was counseling the youngsters they just had to take it when a Latino gang killed a couple of them in a drive by because the numbers and balance of power. He was then like a Huggy Bear to the cops as the Latino gang was going on an increasing rampage.

However the pressure at least in the Los Angeles area is not anywhere, it tends to be areas that were already heavily Latino and the Blacks that moved out of South LA into them in other parts of the county get the KKK like tactics to move.

Some of these Mexican gangs are allied with white supremacist gangs.
